Crash Shuts Route 49 In Bridgeton (Developing)

A crash closed all lanes of Route 49 in Bridgeton on Wednesday morning, May 1, authorities said.

The crash occurred at about 10:15 a.m. near Route 638 (North Burlington Road), according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes had been closed and detoured westbound, 511njorg reported.They reportedly reopened by 1 p.m.

Bridgeton police were not immediately available for comment.
